Thursday 18 October 2018 | 20:00 | free entrance The artistic collective Frolic will be at TV CONTROL CENTER on the 18th of October presenting the new fall/winter 2020 collection ''COSMOS'' inspired by astronomy, sciences and space exploration. On the spacey compositions of Frolic will improvise for one night, the musician Stephanos Chytiris and the dancers Theano Xidia, Irini Oikonimidi and Despina Sanida. Frolic is simultaneously an artistic identity, a fashion brand and an event creator for showcasing its products. Frolic, as part of the present hybrid era, highlights the multitasking of artistic productivity. For its first appearance as a brand, Frolic commences with a basic medium, fabric, which has (played) its own role in the fields of art, design, fashion and technology. The Fall/Winter 2020 collection is wearable silk canvases inspired by space exploration, outer and inner, how the human condition reacts to it, etc. Thus, merging a fundamental material (fabric) to/with fundamental questions. Navigating with the stars Frolic finds strange new worlds, myths and existential questions in its own journey to deliver high-end, conceptual works. Our silk scarves offer a shield covering you with questions. The final product and all it's components ( packaging, pin, events, promotion ) are curated by frolic, with an artistic view aiming to revive the senses.
